· The elliptically ground area on the instrument tip (2) and the diamond-shaped plateau (1) permit it to penetrate the interdental space and periodontal cleft optimally.
· Designed for 180° rotation for 4 luxation movements: 2x mesial and 2x distal. During luxation, the elevator exerts 5 – 7 hypomochlions (rotation and supporting actions), which is vastly superior to any conventional elevator (max. 1 – 2 hypomochlions). The grooves (3) on the edge of the instrument provide for especially efficient luxation.
· The instrument tips are not designed for axial leverage as this may cause them to fracture.
